Georgia continues to surprise us - Here are her monthly improvements:
August 2003: 2 years old
1) Georgia catches a ball thrown at her!
2) Georgia says baseball bat - sounds like.."bay baal baat". Georgia said mama & "wheel barrow"
- sounded like "weee baro"!
3) Georgia knows all her letters....from her alphabet puzzle
4) Georgia said G'ma for grandma...
5) ootball for futball..
6) shakes her head for "no" all the time
7) says "bye bye" with her hands all the time!
8) Goes down the slide all by herself
9) Walks up the slide standing upright without holding on
10) taught self how to slide down the slide on her tummy....feet first
11) temper tantrums..(2) good cognitive presentation! I am actually enjoying this..it's a great sign.
12) RUNS occasionally
13) Dances...by stomping feet and turning around and around in a circle and does "the wheels on the bus"
with hands..
14) Blows a kiss
15) Blows with a whistle
16) Takes stickers off paper and puts them on her "art work"
17) Fingerpaints, uses crayons & pens
18) Uses the potty (sometimes)
19) Is starting to use sign language: "more", "all done", "potty"...
20) New obsession with books about Corduroy the bear..must read over and over..
21) Dresses self half way
22) New obsession with toy vacuum and toy washer/dryer....loves to imitate mommy vacuuming. We vacuum together.
23) Using fork pretty well.
24) Georgia says at 2.9 years...Nana (grandma) Mama, Dada, "p" for Poppy, "dgdg" for Georgia, Mmmm for moo
25) Climbs ladders like a champ
26) Georgia has started TALKING!
